After the death of her son in 2007 in the War on Terror, the Lord led Patti to write her story. Her book “Tattered Not Torn: Standing Strong Amidst Life’s Storms” walks you through not only the major storm of losing her son but also the many other storms of her life. Weathering life’s storms is not always a pretty picture but through her faith in Jesus she has been able to come through them all.
Biblically based teaching coupled with humor from life experience, her message offers hope and encouragement to women of all ages.
Patti served her church in Rockport, Texas as the Women’s Ministry Director for 17 years; leading Bible Studies, women’s retreats and teaching Sunday School. She moved to the Texas Hill Country in 2011 and has connected with her new home church where she continues to serve the Lord teaching and singing. Patti currently teaches at LBJ Middle School in Johnson City, Texas.
The storms in life that Patti McLead has experienced are some of the toughest. However, her faith in God has brought her through them all. Through Tattered Not Torn Ministries, she shares her stories and the lessons she learned in a way that will have you crying one minute and laughing the next.
